Every year, the Randolph Education Foundation (REF) awards scholarships to high school seniors who are in the first generation of their family to pursue post-secondary education. The program has funded over $25,000 in scholarships to students in the district pursuing their dreams by continuing their education.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
Only residents of Randolph Township who are graduating seniors at either Randolph High School or Morris County School of Technology will be considered
You must have attended one of these schools for at least 2 years
You must be in the first generation of his/her family to attend an accredited technical school, two-year, or four-year college or university. Note: a student is eligible as a first-generation college student if neither parent has a college degree. Students with siblings in college are also eligible for the award.
Requirements:
Eligible students who are interested in applying for this opportunity must complete and attach the scholarship form and a 250-word essay
You must also submit an acceptance letter from the intended college you plan to attend and a copy of the financial aid package award letter (We understand that Financial Aid Awards are delayed this year with the FAFSA rollout delay. You can still submit the REF Scholarship Application without an award letter)
Awards Presentation:
Awards will be presented at the annual Senior Scholarship night in June, 2025. More specific information about this event will be provided soon.
The deadline to apply for the 2025 scholarships is April 28, 2024.
