The Randolph Education Foundation's Next Practices Grant Program (NPG) encourages innovation and creativity among staff in Randolph schools, focusing on fostering a growth mindset and student-centered learning. With an annual budget of up to $10,000, the program supports proposals for fresh and creative educational ideas, spanning single classrooms to collaborative projects. Grants can be utilized for materials, training, technology, and other needs, aiming to fund "next practices" that go beyond traditional educational approaches.
Congratulations to the 2024-2025 Next Practice Grant Recipients:
Elementary Media Specialists Grace McCusker, Stephanie Crean, Lynnae Failla, and Melanie Lamac received $5,980 for their collaborative proposal for each of their elementary school buildings. The project entitled, “Are You Ready for Coding,” aims to introduce coding concepts in a collaborative and creative way using Ozobot robots.Â
