Randolph Rocks 5K/1K Run
The Randolph Rocks 5K/1K Run is an inclusive community event catering to both competitive and recreational runners, as well as walkers of all levels. This annual event brings together participants, friends, family, and neighbors to have a great time while raising funds to support the Randolph Township School district. As REF's primary fundraiser, the event contributes to various programs such as Next Practice Grants, Rock Stars Event, Second Pair of Jeans, scholarships, and other discretionary grants, making it a crucial initiative for the community.
Randolph Rocks 5K/1K & Virtual Run:
The Randolph Rocks 5K Run features a USATF-NJ Sanctioned/Certified course with Grand Prix status. With a fast start, the rolling course includes 70% roads and 30% beautiful Randolph Trails with music and live bands playing throughout the course. Chronotrack Chip Timing by Elite Racing Systems tracks race day results and they are available immediately on RunSignUp. Due to safety considerations, no pets or strollers are allowed on the 5K course.
The 1K Fun Run is a non-timed event designed for people looking for a shorter, less competitive event. Participants run on a paved surface on the High School/Middle School Campus. Strollers are allowed on the 1K course and an adult is welcome to jog with their child. We also offer a sensory friendly start to this event.
Can’t make it with us in-person for the event? You’re in luck! You can also register for a Virtual 5K Race instead. This can be completed whenever you would like during a week window selected each year (usually the week after the in-person race). When, where and how you complete the event is up to you! You can choose to run, walk or hike the virtual 5K and you can do it all at once or you can break it up and do it over a few days. Grab a friend, family member, or just yourself and go have some fun!
